I am all over the sites asking questions about how to go about this task. I have 3/4" thick hardwood boards 6" wide by 24" long. I need 1/8" strips that are 6" x 24" off of these boards they will be laminated between lighter colored woods, what is the best way to go about doing this? I have a 14" bandsaw and a riser kit on the way. I have a tablesaw. I DO NOT HAVE any type of sanding machines nor do I have a power planer (thanks to an UN-NAMED person in the classifieds below but thats another story).
Side question, will resawing boards leave a good enough finish for laminating? What type blade for resawing will leave a good finish?
