I have some old cordless saw blades for a saw that no longer has any juice. They are 6.25" diameter with a 20mm arbor. Is this a size that is currently being used, or should I turn them into something else.

20 mm? That's pretty large. If you have a metal lathe, you could make bushings for the holes that press in.

I have a metal lathe, I was actually going to cut up the blades and turn them into parting tools. I have loads of 7.25" blades, and it's rare that I even use my hand held circular saw.
