OK, 71 views but no reply tells me no one on this forum owns this one. I just can't find any review on this anywhere on web. So I guess I am going to strike this one out.

Given the fact it is a new saw with a riving knife it is possible no one actually owns one, I don't mean here I mean anywhere. The 1023 series revamped saws with a riving knife have not hit the shores yet so it may be possible these although in the catalog and on the website might not be available. Have you checked to see if they are indeed available yet?

Milind - It's also worth finding out if these have the motor hanging out the back or not. If they do, riving knife or not, $869 shipped is too much for that style of saw IMO. The G0661 with a riving knife and an inboard motor isn't much more. I'd also think that at some point Grizzly would be offering a hybrid with a full enclosure of some sort to replace the G0478.

I think Van and Scott both are right. The saw is very new, just like G1023RL and it is not available until April end (just like G1023RL). Nor does Grizzly have G0661 until April end. Sounds like Grizzly will be flooded with a lot of saw by May begining. For now, anyone who wants to by a saw from Grizzly and wants it now, G0690 and G0691 are the only options.
