Thanks for the nice comments! :)
Accually I did use a scroll saw blade I mounted in a dowel handle. The kids seem to really like them also.

Those are way neat, Sparky! :) Don't know...I never could get the hang of making those fancy ones. Guess I just don't have that artistic eye! Or, in Becker's case, *eyes*!

Sparky,

I showed the pic's to my daughters and they both said "Oh my Gosh". My 12 yeard old daughter said it puts mine to shame and I thought I did a good job. Well you certainly have created a work of art with the Jack-o's and have raised the bar for my daughters.

What process and tools did you use?

Thanks

Terrific pumpkins!!! Love the whimsical touches.

I hope Jim realizes that his "crazy eyes" are on each of his 5,000+ posts. I think we're finally getting to see the real "Saws "n Dust".

My 15 year old daughter said they are the best she has ever seen. (Her Dad thinks so also) She also said "Why do ours just have triangles for eyes?"

O well, I guess I need a new tool.

Artiste!! well maybe not. We (SHMBO and I) used patterns from a Pumpkin Masters book. It is not very hard. You tape the pattern to the pumpkin and use a sharp tool (like an awl or a nail) to poke thru the patern into the pumpkin along the lines. Then using old jig saw blades I mounted in handels we cut along the lines. You can also buy a book that comes with a set of tools to do it. We have been doing this every halloween for the last 15 years.
