Hello everyone:
I am new to the site, have been engraving for about 10 years.
but never to old to learn new tricks!
I engrave knives for BHK and have had some problem with 01. It was tarnishing and leaving marks. I use LM6000 from Cermark spray can, or brush it on by hand.
Solution to problem was to use a detail sprayer, and apply a fine coat, and then heat dried the coating results excellent! The real news is I purchased the sprayer from a company called Harbor Freight for about $16.00 and it worked great. It provided and even fine coat that gave super results.
