Gloating and sad at the same time (sung in the key of bummer)

I got the news and I was feelin' ok
My 3520B will be here next Tuesday
I checked my schedule and my heart took a beating
I'm booked all week at out of town meetings
(chorus)
I got the blues
I got the Mustard Monster blues
It'll get here without me, I don't get to choose
There just ain't no fightin' those Mustard Monster blues

I have several more verses, but I can feel everyone's sympathy flowing already so won't go on.

Woo Hoo, DOH!

Put it together?, sharpened my gouges?, have a blank ready to go?....hot coffee next to the lathe?are those my favorite cookies sitting next to my coffee?.....what??? am I in heaven.....

If it could only be that simple..........

Roses are red
And violets are blue
At least a monster
Is on it's way to you

You can be sad
But others would be glad
Because you get home
A big smile will be had

You can make a bowl
Practically big as you want
Complain.. no way...
Complaint I shant...

You should enjoy the new toy
Like a shinny new boy
Smile and love'em
It's gonna be a joy

Enjoy the new toy... I've been wanting one for years... this year, braces got in the way for my son... Next year it'll be his car...

The important thing is that you will have the new lathe soon.I just got one before Christmas after using a General for 20 years. I love it !!!!! It's like being born again. I'm turning things now I only dreamed of trying before. The only thing better than having "The Monster" is being RETIRED.............and having "The Monster". (Believe me.......I KNOW.

Bob (and others) that's pretty good. Just need to buy a guitar and learn three chords.
