I've been buying rags, glue, nitril gloves, and shop towels at the borg. Is there better prices out there somewhere? I go through about at least a box or two every month of 100 ct gloves and rags-biting into the pocket book l little much doing antique restorations (not my day job-just a little side work).

For what you are buying I would suggest HF. The gloves are $11.99 for 100 http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=37052. 50 pack of the red shop rags are $14.99 http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=46163. The towels are $5.99 a 10 pack http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=97425.

I will try to wash the rags and towels when I have used them on the car and the get full of grease and oil (Don't tell the LOML!) but when they get full of stain or paint they are usually toast and get pitched.

Another option would be the large warehouse stores like Sams and Costco. I have seen the towels and rags in there but don't know the cost there.

I frequently browse the "clearance" pages of retailers like Rockler, Woodcraft, Hartville and Infinity... I've found good deals on shop supplies this way... just got a shipment from Rockler yesterday with clearnced wiping rags & some Titebond iii glue...

+1 for shopping at HF for the gloves, rags, towels, etc. I can't remember if I've ever bought TB glue from them.

I have not priced the rags and towels at Sam's Club but they have them. I buy the large gloves there and they are a little cheaper than HF with no shipping cost..

Another vote for Harbor Freight for disposables like nitrile gloves.

I get disposable gloves for nothing, but I would shop HF if I didn't.

Other shop supplies I get are from Menards.

Thanks all. I didn't think about Sams. I will stop at Harbour Freight and check prices also.
