I did this as a personal project but thought it was cool enough to share.

The images were a mix of jpgs I found and vector art I altered or already had. The photos were prepared with photograv and I used the settings 35 power, 100 speed, 600 DPI on my 35 watt mini 18. I vector cut the sheets to size, holes to mount the pieces to the case and the front logo using the settings 10 speed, 100 power, 5k ppi.

I mirrored the image to engrave on the backside of the acrylic on my front panel (which I thought turned out better) and engraved on the front side of the acrylic on both side pieces. The acrylic I used is extruded so it didn't get as white as clear cast I have done but I think it turned out good anyways.

If anyone is a computer guy like me, this is a setup I use with freeNAS. It's a dinosaur (PII, 256 MB of ram) but it'll do what I want it to.

Sweet. I'm extremely new to the Laser World and all these ideas I see are great. I'm sure I'll be asking a gazillion questions, as you all seem to have tons of knowledge.
