I collect a lot of scrap from a millwork shop. It's been in my cellar for a couple of years now. It seems way too dried out to make segmented bowls without chipping. Will it help to get it out of my dry house or is it too late?

Yes dry wood can be brittle. Wheres your location? Dry wood can be real dusty to.

I'm in New Hampshire but it's been very dry lately. The inside of the bowl seems to chip alot where the pieces are glued together. I was thinking of taking all my wood and putting it out in the garage.

that happens because the glue joint is stronger than the wood, so when the tool hits the glue it rips it out because it doesnt have enough support. take lighter cuts, or leave more room for sanding
