Hello to all,

I finished making my bed. I do apologize if these if pictures are less then adequate. My monitor it well should we say prehistoric and my internet connection operates at the speed of the Pony Express. I still have yet to accept the fact living here that all things that cost one price in the lower 48 suddenly go up 200% here. I will eventually get DSL once I accept that fact.

I wanted to design a low sitting bed (just mattress) which I do enjoy to plop over onto the floor and wanted a solid look. It is of yellow cedar (only rough stuff around and it isn't priced in the lottery winning range) and teak. M&T joints with teak plugs. Then bed hangers for easy assembly. I do hope the pictures give you some idea.

Have a good one.

Kyle

Kyle, nice job on the bed. Your exposed mortises add a nice touch as well.
