Kaleidescope Egg-----Help

I'm making the G-kids some kaleidescope eggs for Easter. I'm using the kit from Woodcraft. How do you get the c-ring to lock into place against the lens in the eyepiece? Thanks.

Bending the snap ring a little, sometimes helps. Try to force it down with a common screw driver being careful not to scratch the lens. I hope this helps your problem.

I use a small nail while pushing down one end and push the other end into the ring and then push it down firmly against the plexi.

I use 2 small dowels. One to hold the one side down in place and the other to push the other side in. Sometimes it's a snap and other times it can be a most frustrating experience!

+1 on the small nails. I have made 2. The first took forever to get the clips in, the second seemed like magic.....the 3rd?????
