I submitted four bowls to my local fine arts store to be juried. I got a letter back yesterday. It was like opening college acceptance letters (remember when). The liked me...they really like me. I wanted to share this with all you creekers since I attribute some of my success to this forum. I have gotten a great deal of help and inspiration from all of you. Thanks again.

Gongrats Matt,

Whats the name of the store and do they have a web site? It would be really cool to see the work of a fellow creeker in a fine arts store !!

Thanks for all the positive feed back. I have to meet with the manager to bring the bowls back to be put up for sale, but here are pictures of the ones submitted. One is spalted elm from a neighbors wood pile, and the others are cherry. All finished with BLO and buffed. The darker footed bowl came from a bought board and the other cherry bowls were all from fresh cut trees. My photo skills need improvement. Thanks for looking.
