Did you do the carving yourself? Nice carving. Can't say that I like the color but the workmanship looks great.

Love the carving!! Not so much the painted finish, though you did a good job with it. I would admit to the notion that when there is that much work in a carving, the wood deserves to be shown even if it is pine. However, you may be matching an existing decor, and thus the color.

Either way - excellent work!!

Excellent carving and I would have also left it natural wood... unless of course the wife said to paint it. :D

Thanks for looking and the comments Guys,

This was a special order from a client who specified the final color. It is going in the same room as this bench.
