Does anyone know if its possible to engrave castings done with polyester resin?

I've engraved resin bowling balls. No idea if they're polyester though. They take more power than the rubber balls I do, if that's any help...

Polyester is safe to engrave, if that's your question.

I know that it is safe since i have seen things cut from it, but I was more interested in who it was to engrave. Does it engrave similare to acrylic?
