Cleaning helical head for tooth installation.

So I have noticed that the ridging from my helical heads is getting worse. I have taken all the knives off. It was obvious that they were not all torqued the same. So I am trying to get the head dust free and having a hard time. Is it ok to use a spray can of brake cleaner, which is mainly acetone. To spray off the dust. I want something liquid that will hold onto the dust cause an air nozzle doesn't work.

I used mineral spirits to clean mine.

Is it just me, I hate the smell of mineral spirits, seems to linger forever. I seem to always gravitate to Acetone, which will probably kill me :(

Is there a low odor mineral spirits?

Yes there is odorless mineral spirits. Find it at the borg right next to the odored stuff.

Funny, I thought all mineral spirts were odorless. It is one of the reasons I use it. I have only seen and purchased the odorless ones from the BORG.
