Hi all!

Haven't posted in a while for a number of reasons but wanted to share a gloat! I'm still in the beginning stages of woodturning and have decided to quit going to the School of Hard Knocks and take some lessons. So being that I'm only about a three hour drive from Bill Grumbine!!:D, I decided to take a two day, private lesson from this master woodturner!

He did not disappoint! It's amazing how with a bit of real instruction, my turning skills improved...wow! He's truly an amazing man and just like his videos...he had my attention!

I will schedule other lessons with Bill in the future!

Attached is a picture....I know, I know...no picture, it didn't happen!

Best Regard to all!

Sure looks like you had some major fun!

Now that's a gloat, plus it looks like you got some time on a Robust lathe as a extra plus! Hope to see some new projects soon showing off what you learned and maybe a tip or two.

Dave,

You can go to his website and contact him there. He's well worth it and will teach you what you want. Turning is just like learning the piano...I needed some correction and guidance. He and his family are most personable! I had a wonderful time.

I am so jealous. All the turners that I would like to take lessons from are a long ways from me.

A Big Congrats!

Well you just make me green (envy thing you know):):D. I did get to see Bill demo last summer. Very enjoyable day, must be really special to go to Bill's place.

Thanks to all who took the time to post a congratulatory message! You'all are what makes the Creek what it is! The encouragement, help, and comraderie really makes the lives of newbies like myself so much easier in this spinny world of ours.

Thank you all, again!:)
