LOML, a native of Taiwan, has organized a lunch today at a new Taiwanese restaurant in Albuquerque (about 45 min. drive) for 10 people. This is the first time we've tried this place and, wouldn't you know it, the newspaper had a review yesterday so we expect a crowd. Anyway, Happy New Year everyone.

Ben, that's pretty cool. I lived in Taiwan from '81-'84 as a young boy when my father was setting up a manufacturing plant there for Dow Corning. Great cultural experience.

We went two years ago - led a group of 26 for 2 weeks (Please pass me the BIG bottle of Ibuprofen!). You probably wouldn't recognize it now. Very modern, clean, 7/11 - McDonalds - Starbucks everywhere. Prosperous.
