20000 dollar burl

I drove 80 miles into the mountains to the middle of nowhere to buy a bunch of Kentucky Coffeetree (got a very good priice I think). Turns out it is a lumber yard started by a wood collector years ago. They carry 50 species of wood - no diemnsional stuff like the Borgs. Tons of burls. The most impressive was this book matched set. The price listed is only 1/2 the price since the 2 pieces are listed separately - the link is to the photo of the 2 pices together.

As I said they are in the middle of nowhere but have a better selection of exotics than any place I have been.

Thanks for posting, I wish I had known about this place. I was commuting weekly to Grand Junction from Denver last summer and could have easily stopped by their Carbondale store, if I had only known. Now if I want to go west or south it'll take 2 hours plus. From the looks of the inventory looks like it might be worth it.
