I use Cadlink 7 from time to time. Every once in a while a get stumped on how to do certain things within the program.

My question today is; How do you insert the ANSI Character sets?

Engraving a vase and can not figure out how to insert a "n" or an "a" with the squiggly above it.

Thank you in advance.

Hold ALT down and press 1 6 4 and then release ALT for ñ.

Looking for the other..stand by

...well can't find the a at this time and I have to run. google for ASCII character sets. The key combo should work in any text format..Corel or other...and then again......

Google escape codes and ANSII characters and you will have everything you need to insert any standard character.

NOTE: Your font of choice has to support the character, and many do not, especially the custom fonts.

You can use the character map to find all the special symbols for all the fonts on your machine.

Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Character Map

From there you can copy and Paste or use the Alt + four digit.

Hpe this helps
