Great skew project!

Are you looking for a great project to practice using your skew? Take a close look at Bob Hamilton's recent video on making a sewing kit. Other than a spindle roughing gouge, a wide parting tool, a small spindle gouge, and some drill bits, Bob turns the entire project using skew chisels (some of which he made himself). In addition to an attractive, useful project that can be turned with a couple of small scraps of hardwood, I think it's a great way to practice using a skew. (Note: For those who think skews are to be avoided at all costs, the skew work could also be done with a spindle gouge.)

Anyway, I just wanted to thank Bob for another great tutorial.
