eBay has a lot of buckeye burl in all sizes. several of the auctions are ending today.

Norm, I've seen blanks at woodcraft in fairly large sizes. There are also vendor that list on the penturners.org website in the classified that sell buckeye Burl blanks... Some of them may have uncut large blanks that you could puchase.

Try Craft Supply. I have been in their warehouse, and seen stumps as big as my car that they cut into pen blanks. They usually have larger pieces.
