I have owned this system for almost a year now. I'm a hobbyist so only use it a few times a year. Actually, all of my projects have come out great but I have a big lack of confidence when laying down the finish. I have mostly used EM6000. I have a thickness gauge and try to use samples before the real thing but I can't figure the correct gun settings on this Fuji yet. The gun has a fluid control, fan control (by turning the ring on the air-cap), and air control (with a plastic ball valve like you use on the garden hose). I have tried using the #3 & #4 air caps and have found what I think to be the best results with full air. Problem is judging from the overspray and cloudiness in the room I have too much air pressure.
What procedures do others use to set the gun before spraying the real thing?
Thanks,
Mike
