Well this is a mini-gloat for me. I was able to talk LOML into letting me get one of the Ridgid Granite Top Table Saws.

I had a 70's vintage craftsman cast iron top saw and that has worked for the past 5 or 6 years but I needed an upgrade and I couldn't pass up the deal.

I need to make an outfeed table or actually rework my old outfeed table to fit the new saw. I picked up a jet fence which has worked great for the past few years so now I also need to determine which fence is better.

I put the stock fence on the new saw to see how it works but I am now thinking that the jet fence is a bit better.

congratulations Gregg, that looks like a bad-a$$ saw compared to the delta contractor I'm sporting. You'll have to let us know how you like it after you've pushed some wood through it.

Very nice. I'm sure you'll love it. I got many good years out of my Ridgid TS.

I'm still getting good service out of a 10 year old Ridgid TS. Eventually, I'd like to have a cabinet saw but I don't have to have one. I suppose I'll use my Ridgid until it dies!
