I turned this Twig Pot based on a picture in Raffan's hardback book, Taunton's Complete Illustrated Guide to Woodturning. Not sure of the wood but it looks like spalted Maple. The top was turned somewhat oval by turning off setting at the top similar to making a shaped chisel handle. It is hard to see from this picture but it has two edges starting one fourth of the way up from the bottom. I tried again and I think the second picture shows the multi axis better.

Fun to try something a little different. What do you think? Critiques and comment always welcome. I get a lot more specific feedback here than from show and tell at a typical club meeting.

Thanks for looking.

I like it. Haven't thought about multi-axis other than pendants. might have to try.

It looks good. I wonder if that's actually sycamore? Regardless of what it is, I like it.

It looks rustic, like you did it all by hand. Nice little pot....:)
