Bird feeder Ideas

Since we're getting walloped with snow this weekend my daughter came up with the Idea of spending a little shop time with me today and she wants to build a covered bird feed since the one outside our window consists of a 5 gallon bucket top screwed to the top of a 4x4.:D It attracts alot of birds but not with 20" of snow on it. Love to see some pictures of some turned ones to get my light bulb to turn on. Plus I'm sure you good people would love to help this little guy. Thanks in advance.

It does look a little cold for him.I think a nice warm house would be better.Let us know what you come up with.

Make a bowl then a spindle and a platter, mount the spindle in the center of the bowl and the platter on top. sorry i have no photos
