Bernie I dont have that one or know anything about it. I would however look at EBay for "Gast vacuum pumps". I got mine for $124 including intake and exhaust (sp) filters and some needed plumbing. It pulls about 25lbs. I am most pleased with it.

I got the newer Gast 523 110 V that pulls 4.5 CFM used off of eBay delivered for $91. I have seen them for more and less. The filters are built in and you don't need to buy starter capaciters which I know nothing about. Unless you have to have one right now, I would pursue the Gast 523. This is the same model that Packard and CSUSA sells for about $400.

Send a Pm to CW McClellen here at The Creek. CW bought a pallet load of vac pumps awhile back and they are real work horses that came with all the parts you need. They were manufactured for IBM and were probably overstock items.

I bought one but haven't had the time to set it up yet. It is rare that you get the chance to own the good commercial stuff.

Thanks for the info and Keith thanks. I will give him a e-mail. I am still looking at one that is brand new in the box for $200 shipped. I still may pull the trigger.
