I just ordered the Rikon 18" bandsaw from Woodcraft, and I was looking at the different blades. I saw the posting on Suffolk blades so I figured I'd grab the deal and get 4 different blades. Here is what I picked for mine and why. I will probably be doing some non-ferrous metal cutting with the bandsaw from time to time, but I will mostly be using it for preparing logs for turning, or doing custom veneers. Any comments are welcome. I'm not very familiar with the different types of bandsaw blades so I was going by what information I could pull from the website.

1 x 10 RK - good for MDF and non-ferrous metals/plastic
3/4 x 2/3 VPC - good for resawing larger logs (8+ inches)
1/2 x 4PC - General work
1/4 x 8RK - Good for smaller pieces.

That looks like a good variety, you've done your homework. Usually people seem to think there is one do-all blade but changing to the proper blade will make all the difference in performance. Congrats on the new saw.

Suffolk is some good stuff.
I added the "Woodslicer" from Highland Woodworking to my list. It is a go-to blade for resawing in my shop.
