View Full Version : Terrible snipe on G050 planer

Hi guys,

I do occur terrible snipe on my G0505 planer. I read through various posts at i am now confused what to do:
1. Put in and outfeed table exactly in one line with planer bed.
2. Raise the in and out feed tables at the ends
3. raise the peace of wood manually

Who gives me the word....

Lets see.......

Start with Item 3. A few pioeces of scraps and you will know within 30 seconds if it will work for you or not.
Item 1) Infeed and outfeed tables are always a good thing to have. So, if you build them you can test Item 2 in a matter of minutes.

That would eliminate the confusion. Sometimes you just have to find out for yourself.

Peter, Tony, thanks for your reply. I saw the video just after writing my thread. Let me first recover of a backstroke and later on in the week i will start adjusting my planer. Many thanks from Holland.
