Doh!

I managed to break the GF's favorite wine glass... fixed it up with some Black Walnut. The other two are plum... err, the little one might be cherry:confused:... no... it's plum.

Heights are from 8.5" down to 4".

Always happy to hear opinions on the turnings and photo work... as long as your not all liquored up... :D

Nice work, and some very nice wood!! Great idea on the save, too! Kinda like the short one, but all are well done.

They are all very nice. What did you attach the glass to the wood with. Bought a pretty glass vase at an auction years ago. Broke the foot shortly thereafter but kept the vase thinking that I might someday turn one. Now if I can remember what I did with it! At the moment I don't have a clue.:)

Very nice... I'm kinda drawn to the tall, thin one, but I like all three. Hope the repair job gets you out of trouble with the significant other.

I have seen a lot of people do what you did with the wine glass on purpose. I have even read an article on the best way to break the stem..... but you wouldn't REALLY have done that, would you?
Come on, we won't tell her.... fess up..... :D

Thanks all for the nice comments.

And yes, the GF is happy... so I'm happy... y'all know how that works.

Robert, break her favorite glass on purpose??? How long have you been single???:D:D:D

Baxter, I used 5 minute epoxy... so far, so good...
