Hi Everyone
I'm planning out my next router table, which I am going to build. I've been toying with a horizontal table as well and have now started to wonder if both configurations can be incorporated into 1 table?
Has anyone ever done this? Can I see pics if you have!
TIA
George

Yes, I'm trying to think of a way to have both a traditional table with a horizontal mounting option. Maybe a removable section with a secondary fence??

I will Pm you the link, since we aren't allowed to post it
But if you go to the Wood Magazine web site.
Search on "All-Purpose Router Station Downloadable Plan"
I built that one.
It is nice, but if you could modify it to have a larger table (if that's possible) it would be even nicer.

You might take a look at "Router Jigs & Techniques" by Patrick Spielman. He has plans for a router table and several accessories, one of which is a horizontal mountng plate. I used his plans as a kickoff point for my table and I did build this accessory. I've used it a few times and had no complaints. The book is from 1988 but is probably available on Amazon or in the library. PM me if you want more info. Good luck.
