thanks guys.

This isn't right on your way, it's about 75 miles northeast of San Antonio, just east of Bastrop TX. I haven't been there yet but it's on my list to go to when I want some milled mesquite. They sell some finished goods, and rough lumber also.

Gene, give these folks a call:

They are furniture crafters that specilize in mesquite. If they don't have some lumber to sell you, they should be able to steer you to a supplier.

It's worth the trip just to see some of their furniture - it is spectacular.

They are in Bertram, TX, about 30 miles or so west of I-35/Georgetown.

Gene, +1 on Texas Kiln Products. Go out of your way, but go. I have bought about 200 board ft of mesquite in the last year from them. 2 brothers, Ray and Bo Shelton. The mill is off the highway, they have an outlet store on the highway. Call them before you go. Tell them I sent you. They will treat you right.
