My lathe apparently is causing interference on th AM radio my wife uses in the bathroom. The lathe is on a dedicated circuit. It is located about 30 ft away with only one garage wall in between. Does any on know how to stop this interference? The LOML will not be happy with me if the static continues.:(

If you could move the lathe further away, that might help. Otherwise, you're gonna have to move your wife further away, and that's gonna be a lot more trouble.:D

I had the same problem with my DVR XP. I got an EMI suppressor that I wired into the power cord of the lathe, and the noise disappeared.

Matt's got it. It takes an Electronic Interference suppressor in line with the lathe. My intercom between the shop and my wife's sewing room doesn't work for that reason. I just haven't purchased the suppressor yet.

Get a EMI suppressor.

Folks have reported interference in the past and mostly dealing with AM radio. The EMI suppressor should do the trick for you. Be sure to get back to us and let us know the results.
