Hey all -

I'm looking for a local (within a couple hours) source of hardwood lumber and plywood near Auburn, AL (west of Atlanta by 1 1/2 hours). To date, I haven't found any that carry anything but construction grade and I've been having supplies shipped from NC, which is a bit of a pain (but I like the service and wood I get). Any quick suggestions that you know of close by would be really helpful. I've visited a bunch of suppliers and it seems like they can get soft woods and a lot of birth but nothing else that is furniture grade (especially for the plywoods).

Thanks!

There is a lumber mill in Buena Vista, Georgia called Oakcrest Lumber. They carry red oak, white oak, poplar and gum. I have bought kiln dried lumber from them for years now. They do have a minimum order of 200 board feet. I don't think they carry any plywood though.
