Good morning, all.
I am in the process of building the 3 in 1 baby bed from Wood Magazine.
The curved portions of the head and foot boards recommends using a fairing stick. I have searched the forums and have seen alot of recommendations for 1/8" masonite ones. The one I will need will probably be about 5 or 6 feet long.

Has anyone had experience with longer fairing sticks and materials with which them made them out of? Any tips for longer sticks? Thanks!

Wood Magazine also said:

"Also, if you need a fairing stick greater than 3' long, increase the stick's width to about 1-1/2" to keep it from twisting sideways under tension. For a really long stick, switch to 1/4"-thick hardboard."
