Powermatic 2700

About ready to get a PM 2700 shaper. As it has been a while since I have used one, can't wait to finally get back into shapers. Any thoughts or opinions on this shaper?

Get a power feed. PM2700, 5 HP, would be my choice. I currently have a Delta 431x 3HP. Works ok for my occasional use. Good luck.:)

Just got one set up. No results yet, but it sure seems nice! Also got the Steff 2048 from Wood Werks. That looks to be THE feeder to get.

I am green. Everytime I hear someone talk about their PM2700 I get jealous. I love my 25A, I have drooled over the 2700 many times. You can't go wrong with that decision.

Thanks for the info. Plan on picking it up tomorrow. Would post pics, but, I live in the country and have dial-up internet, takes forever to do that. Maybe if I get a chance, I will take the laptop into town, eat a burger and try to send them on the wi-fi.
