I need ideas on an insert for a nice wooden box maybe from Colorado Heirloom to hold a laser engraved glass and a laser engraved coaster and maybe a couple of other items. It needs to “hold” everything and look good. Any ideas out there?
Thank You

A shipping supplies source such as ULINE will carry different flat pieces of corrugated and cardboard. You should be able to design and laser cut pieces to exactly fit your application. Just stitch cut for fold lines. I use this method for inner packing pieces for a clock I make and ship.

For a series of pen sets.... Gift boxes, etc: I've used some 5 x 8 x 2 (+-) with clear covers... so cheap to buy, making them myself would have been a waste of time. Something like $.60 in quanities of 75 or so.

For foam: I've used 1" thick open cell gray. A layer on the bottom, a layer to cut to shape. It cuts great, stinks a bit though. Gary's got the best prices.

Thank you for both of the answers. I think I will go with the foam. Should help protect the items for shipping as well.
Thanks again.
