Are there any compelling reasons for a laser engraver with Corel X3 to go to X4?

I haven't seen any reason, after talking to some of those people that just have to get the latest version of everything. Of course I never liked the way software companies release new versions every year then stop supporting the older ones to get more money from us. I'm still using my 15 year-old vinyl sign design program that cost $10,000 back then, want to get my money's worth.

There is absolutely no reason to buy X4 at this time when X5 will be on the market later this year.

So much talk about early adopters lately, nice change of pace to actually refer to someone as "late adopter" if you move to X4.

IMike's right....just wait for X5 - I'm sure it will have some enhancements beyond just the basic 64bit stuff.
