I subscribe to Woodturning Design, but have also purchased Woodturning. Both are excellent.

+1 on Woodturning Design. Got my first 2010 issue yesterday. Nice.
Also get American WOODTURNER with my AAW membership. Most of the articles are above my skill level but it is still a nice mag.

As said above and also MoreWoodTurning (www.morewoodturning.net (http://www.morewoodturning.net)) which is available in printed or email format.
WT and WT Design are basic and good. When you become an expert, you will prefer the AAW mag (which requires membership and only arrives 3 or 4 times a year). If you ask me, and have the resources, start with a couple of the above. I love getting magazines in the mail!!

Hi Norm,

Just a note to all, The AAW journal is now published 6 times a year. It took a little bump in $$$, but well worth it for me. Betty Scarpino is the new editor and has done a fantastic job.

I am also a fan of the British Woodturning mag, but it has been dropped by me. Not for content, but for price. It is still one of the best out there.

Best wishes,

Dave

Just go to woodturner.org and on the left of the screen is the link to sign up for membership.
