Can anyone tell be where I can find good variety of woods/lumber in the State of Delaware? More specifically in Sussex County. Moved here a few months ago and I've started a search. I found only one, "Chesapeake Woodworkers." I'd like to see what else is around... just don't know where to look?

I have lived in Delaware (Northern) for quite a while and I haven't found much in my neck of the woods for wood supplies. The two I know of are http://www.hearnehardwoods.com/index.html (Oxford, PA) and http://www.delawarecountysupply.us/ in Boothwyn, PA. Both are very well stocked but neither is inexpensive. If you find anything else let me know :)

Yea, Jon, you're close enough that you need to make the trek to Hearne and drool a little...LOL (Actually, their prices are competitive)

Unfortunately, I can't help you with anything closer.

Hi Jon, check this, http://delawarewoodguild.web.officelive.com
several of the members mill wood and also do group purchases. I also have a nice source in Kennett Square if that is not too long of a ride. Good luck, Tony Albano

Along with Hearne Hardwoods, there is also Groff and Groff Lumber
