RTA cabinets

Anyone have experience with ready-to-assemble cabinets? I've found a company (GB Imports) that offers them pre-finished with all wood birch construction and dovetailed drawers. I'm sure they are from China but I need something as inexpensive as possible without going to particle board or MDF.

For about $3000 I could replace all the cabinets in my 10x10 kitchen plus add an island.
