Someone sent the photo below to me. I don't know where this was taken or who is in the picture with it. This has to be the biggest crotch I've ever seen. I wonder if I could fit it on my Stubby?

Now that is a beautiful piece of wood. It looks curly toward the bark too. :)

Great website; did you see where there were pics of the mill in action?? I see a couple pics of a lucasmill slabbing setup, but I didn't know they were capable of a 10 foot cut. I saw one advertised near me a few years ago.I have a 36" alaskan chainsawmill and a "big" 100cc saw--a mere nothing compared to the 25+HP and a slabbing chain with lots of space between the cutters. Check out the curlies on the ground--its pulling even when cutting end grain.
