I got this at an auction last weekend... over 25 H Taylors and a bunch of Pfeil, some rifflers, other assorted, and some super high end mini carvers (yeah right) and "Frog Chicago" made in germany. i was told frog was a tool store in chicago that only lasted a few years, but their tools were high end... anybody heard of them?

Check out the riffler rasps on the second page of rasps.

Looks like the rasps are also from Frog Tools.

Looks like a good haul James.

Hope to find good deals like that here in the North West someday.

Jealously shouting, You Suck!,

Jim that is brilliant sleuthing!!
thank you very much!

on the carving something note;
i have only carved a few things before. a couple rosettes and a little figurine... i can carve well, but i have a feeling that it takes me about 5 times longer than anyone else. shoot, i bet i could do an open heart surgery if you gave me two days to finish it :D
