So I added some doors to keep the new saw secure from prying eyes:rolleyes: Actually small fingers and cat hair.

After putting the saw together I've run a few boards and is this thing sweet. Never have I had the power in my other saw that this one has.

I'm still awaiting the table for this saw and can't decide if I want the 36 or 52" model. My choice really as it came with the 52's but I had ordered the 36's and they were out of stock. I think that I going to contact Delta and see if the 36" table will fit on the 52" fence system. I could use the blank area at the end of the fence rails for the dust collector.

For a 600+lb saw I can move it easier than I thought on the concrete floor.

I almost forgot to mention the 31-260X sander that I bought as well.

Now what to get in the form of rebate tools?

Those are nice saws Jim.
You are going to like it.

The 36" table should work.
You may have to drill some holes though.

Steve, notice in the first picture the area next to the separator is empty. Thats where the old saw was located.

Now it's on to the cabinet fronts and doors.:o

How do you walk past those table rails??
I don't see a mobile base...is there more room than it appears to be?

Fortunately I'm quite small:D No really, I had ordered the saw with 36" rails and table but it was out of stock. I'm currently waiting for the shorter rails now. But, I'm not sure I'm going to take them. I may just learn to jog around the rails or move the saw a little farther away from the bench.

As to the mobile base believe it or not this saw moves quite easily across the concrete floor. I can move it by myself and it weights about 4 times what I do.
