LOML wanted a full-length dressing mirror. I found a large enough mirror at HD, but didn't want to just hang it on the wall. Instead, I built this frame for it.

A local lumber yard had a small lot of qtr sawn makore for ~$3/bdft. Being stupid and not really knowing what makore was at the time, I only bought about 30bdft. I should have bought it all!

The makore was easy to work, but definitely an irritant. I'm not bothered by walnut, but this stuff was awful. Sneezing and coughing at the smallest amount of dust. I had to wear a respirator the whole time.

Nice detail with the pegged joints and the laminated feet.
Great job Dan. A winner in my books.

And even a better job if the boss is happy....

I haven't worked with makore but it sure is pretty.
I love all the detail you put into that, the feet are great!
