it is a milwaukee Motor Model No 5650, Base Model No 48-10-0070 seller will include 1 Staright bit and 1 v-groove bit the seller says the condition of this machine is superb.
price 45 dollars

I already have a high end craftsman router. how good of a router is the milwaukee? how good is the price?

a Milwaukee router in good condition is always worth $45

That's an older design (http://www.ereplacementparts.com/milwaukee-5650-ser-4521026-router-parts-c-131_5075_5760.html) than any of mine so I cannot comment on usability. If it runs 1/2" bits or you need that large of a 1/4" collet machine (if that's all it runs, I don't know), $45 is the cost of a bit. I'd probably buy it but it looks like it is a screw retained collet so wht you get is probably what you get. If it seems kinda funky, then its just an old router and I would wait or use the money for something specific.

what is a screw collet? does it change the usability at all?

I wouldn't be afraid of any Milwaukee tools, and $45 sounds like an easy price to live with. Look on ebay and see what you can get it for as a comparison. Lastly if the tool is nearby, try it out and listen to it for yourself.
