I can't speak to whether the saw is any good or not, but I do remember seeing it featured in an episode of PitchMen on the Discovery channel last year. The late Billy Mays thought it was a winner.;)

I used one to do some freehand cutting on some chrome moly, and it is much more controlable because of the counter rotating blades. That said it is clumsy, heavy, and expensive and I can not see enough of a use to justify the cost. You will have to buy blades from them, and the cost is high.

I have the Craftsman version.... awkward, heavy... not as handy as I had hoped for. I use mine about once a year. I have a hard time making accurate cuts with it. It sure didn't kick my reciprocating saw out of the shop like I anticipated... The reciprocating saw is more accurate, easier to use, better balanced, easier to control. About 99% of the time a reciprocating saw will do a better job ... But that 1%, it really comes in handy...
