Brand New Porter Cable 895 Spindle Lock Broke

I just had the spindle lock break on my brand new PC895 when I was changing a bit. I bought it last weekend at the Columbus Woodworking Show. Got it for a pretty good price (I thought). I am now headed back into Columbus to see if I can get it taken care of. Warrenty replacement I hope.

Anyone else have this hapen to them?

It does happen.
However, 2 wrenches is better than one spindle lock.
I'd forget it unless you need it for upsidedown use.

You should have the full mfgs warranty. Contact PC and find out.

Its at the shop now for repair. They said 2-3 days they will have it fixed.
