I was just wondering if any creekers out there have been to one of these woodworking shows? Would it be worth the 2hr drive?

thanks, brett g.

I count 40 vendors. How long would it take you to look at 40 booths?

Sometimes they have pretty good sales.

Check the demonstrations and see if anything interests you.

Overall, if you have never gone then try one. For $10 and an hour or two you can't go too far wrong.

It is the same thing every year so the "new" has worn off it for me, but I still go every year. Annual similarities aside, where else will you get to look at a giant room full of tools, books, supplies and nick-nacks for woodworking?

I'd make the drive, and I've been before!

I didn't go this year because the check book was and still is on the light side. It is easy to spend money at the show. I dont even know if I will go next year. I didn't feel like I missed out this year. Because it is just vendor trying to sell you everything. I wish there were more demonstrations and how to seminars, and less buy this, buy this, buy this.
