Howdy,

Just finished two projects for the shop. One is a rotating tool stand with a belt sander on one side and jointer on the other. The second is an out feed table that when not in use rolls over top of the saw and assumes the same foot print as the table saw and doubles as a work bench. The patterns are from were purchased from wood working magazine. Neither are furniture grade.

Looks good...I have the same tablesaw and was going to make that same outfeed table out of the wood magazine article...We moved and I got more space...Looks like it would have worked out just fine.

Nicely Done,

I like it. Very practical. One of those flip carts is on my long list of things to do.

Hi Joe,

same situation... same saw and I was looking to build the same outfeed table. How do you like it?

I hate that I have to ask this, but ... what gives the table the extra lift to fit atop the table saw ... since ... presumably ... their top heights should match, to be a good outfeed table??

Sorry. Low IQ. I wrestle with it every day ;)

The wheels are mounted on a pivoting crossarm. When you lever them down it fits over the table. When you lever them up, the table sits level with the saw.

Forgot to say: Same saw. Same plan for table. ;-)

Uhhh. Neat!!

Many thanks for posting that. I'd have to think it through, but imagine you could get a little more lift, if necessary, in order to clear blade guard/riving knife, if desired.

Genius. I was going to make a 'false table' top that would just lay on top of the saw.....but doubling an outfeed table to do double duty is a great idea...

I've been searching the wood magazine plan website but can't seem to find that plan. I find the video, but when I click on the plan link, it takes me back to the home page.

Do you have a link to that plan?

Thanks.

In order to use as a work bench over the saw, you have to remove the blade guard and probably the riving knife.
Here is the link, name of the plan, and wood store plan number. it was $7.95 for the plans
