Here's the second bowl I finished last week. It's Walnut, 7" X 2" high, 1/2" wall. There were 2 shallow bark inclusions that I decided to leave on the outside. I finished it with tung oil. On this one I was working on just getting a nice even curve form. How'd I do? Thanks for any comments.

I think it's nice. There seems to be a little bit of a curve change about 2/3 of the way up from the bottom, but that may have been intentional. It looks very solid which I think is nice.

Looks good to me! My curves seem to flatten out near the rim at times. Don't know if that is good, bad, or sometimes an optical illusion. I'm not sure with this one either. Why did you decide to leave the bark on? I have sometimes gotten a nice shape or pleasing grain pattern then turned it away because of a little bark on one side. Haven't seen others leave it but why not?:) Pretty bowl!

Rob - looks pretty good to me! Curve looks good and I like how you softened the rim edges. Nice work!

Nice bowl, Rob. The color is very nice, and I think you did good on the form.
